Do you still have your first client handbook? I wrote it when The Homeopathic Alternative moved to its first downtown office on F Street.

New office at the Davis Chamber of Commerce, 1999

Within two years we moved again, to share a newly remodeled office building on G Street with the Davis Chamber, under the leadership of then Executive Director Lori Sternberg.

The Homeopathic Alternative cozied itself into the spacious back room for the next four years, and was soon overflowing with skylight bobbles, books, toys and fish. It was here that you made us your healing home—your second home.

I was the mother of two young girls, themselves flirting with adolescence. Homeopathy was a familiar table at the annual Downtown Davis Business Expo (now Celebrate! Davis) and Chamber Day on the Quad.

Fast forward to today . . . both my practice and I are enjoying life’s third trimester. Except for one, the fish have surprisingly grown along with us. (Remember my Nemo—the little fish with one atrophied fin? That’s really his picture in my SoulCollage.)
